My Private Closet began 15 years ago, and has pioneered the idea of wearing a second hand or a vintage item was unusual. The boutique was ahead of its time in discovering the notion of bringing new life to pre worn garments and vintage pieces.
Hagit, the owner of My Private Closet has been dressing women and styling them for almost 2 decades. Her taste, sense of style and aesthetic is apparent at every step of the process and visible at the selection of pieces in the boutique
It all started with pieces from Hagit’s personal closet and then extended to clothes worn by the ladies she was styling for. Once they were worn one time they could not wear them again, in the necessity of their duty so they brought it to the boutique. Most items are from fashion shows, limited edition pieces and some one of its kind.
The boutique was initially started as a personal dream of Hagit, and, to the dismay and hesitation of her surroundings, not seeing the potential and future of the business as she envisioned.
However, it is a far cry from today, whereas the boutique has become a pilgrimage of fashionable women that arrive from all across the country, and know to appreciate and understand the beauty of these special pieces.
Once the boutique grew and attracted more and more followers and enthusiasts, Hagit decided to bring new pieces that reflect her personal taste and style. So now the boutique holds new and “as new” fashion pieces.
